Basil Essential Oil (Ocimum basilicum)

Properties:

- Has an analgesic, anti-allergic, bactericidal effect.

- Effective against pain and muscle spasms. Restores strength to tired and strained muscles.

- Basil oil soothes colds, runny nose, rheumatic and arthritic pains, headaches.

- It has a refreshing, cleansing and toning effect on the skin. It helps in the treatment of hyperemic skin and acne.

- It has an antidepressant effect.

- Soothes the effects of wasp and other insect bites and repels them.

- Sharpens the ability to concentrate.

Aroma: spicy, herbal.

It combines well with: cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, lavender, orange.

HOW TO USE:

Bath - fill the bathtub with warm water and add essential oils (previously mixed with the base oil). For one bath, 6-12 drops of oil mixed in one tablespoon (10 ml) of basic oil are used.

Massage - selected essential oils are added to the basic oil intended for massage. Pour about 50 ml of essential oil into a glass bowl or bottle, add 10-25 drops of essential oil and mix.

Store the mixture in a tightly closed dark glass bottle in a cool and dark place.

Shake the bottle before each use.

For one teaspoon (5ml) of essential oil, usually 2-3 drops of essential oils are given.

Spraying - fill the water container in the aromatic fireplace or diffuser with water and add 3 to 6 drops of essential oil.

Sauna - 5 drops of essential oil in 1 liter of water.
