Caprylic acid affects the reduction of colonies of pathogenic fungi in the body, among others. Candida, causes damage to their cellular structure and, consequently, cachexia. Caprylic acid is a very important substance supporting antifungal treatment, with research-documented effects and additional antibacterial properties. Caprylic acid restores the balance of bacterial flora in the intestines, contributing to the proper functioning of the body and stopping fungal infections.

The inner bark of the Lapacho tree (Pau d'Arco) contained in Candida Support Special is called the gold of the Incas. Pau d'Arco has antibiotic and antiviral properties.
